NEW YORK — Yesterday, in New York City, M-A-C VIVA GLAM VI spokesperson, Fergie, announced 11 new grants from the M-A-C AIDS Fund (MAF) aimed at preventing the spread of HIV among young people, ages 15-24, who account for more than half of all new infections. The $2.3 million M-A-C AIDS Fund's Global Youth Prevention Initiative is being funded exclusively from sales of Fergie's VIVA GLAM VI Special Edition Lipgloss.
"As a musician, I'm able to reach a wider audience about issues close to my heart, and through the VIVA GLAM campaign, I've been able to get this message across to youth around the world. I'm so gratified that my lipglass has raised funds to help prevent youth across the globe from contracting HIV."

A House Divided continues. I am working on part 3 right now and this will seriously be the last part. It's starting to come back around to what I had originally planned, so everything is good.

My next trick is finding that missing fanfic which went AWOL and replacing it. Stay tuned.

Well, the holiday's over, and I suppose I need to get back to work on this site. I've made some small progress on that fanfic, and it is not one of my best, but it's going up in parts starting today because it's still very, very long.

DENVER - First word on Barack Obama's historic nomination acceptance speech from a bevy of celebrities in attendance was decidedly partisan: "It was excellent," Black Eyed Peas singer Fergie said. "It was amazing."

The Black Eyed Peas performed a concert at the Fillmore Auditorium for the Creative Coalition. Fergie praised Hillary Rodham Clinton's Tuesday-night speech, saying Clinton "really spoke to me as a woman. And I think she spoke to a lot of people in that way."

or, The Mouse is a Rat

We all know by now about what happened to Connie and Richie during their years on KI. They recorded their voices just like anything else, and at the last minute, someone decided not to use their voices and switched theirs for someone else's. Without telling them. Blame was cast on the replacement voices. Ridicule was given to the voiceless. Rumors abounded that no one on the show could sing, and a bunch of trolls everywhere started rating the show down and pretending they weren't in love with it as kids.

Surprise, surprise, it happens again, only this time it is 10 times worse because of the above incident. It's Renee's voice belting out "Here I Am" in that Crap Rock movie, on the soundtrack, and anywhere else you'd hear that song. Apparently, another last minute decision was made. Hmm...

What infuriates me (besides being called a liar by illiterate stupid racist teenyboppers!) is the fact that rumor has always had it that Renee and Rahsaan left KI because they found out about this vocal ventriloquism and were rightfully pissed. Now, if this is true, why would Renee willingly go back to the company who screwed over her castmates, and allow herself to be used to screw over someone else???? It doesn't fit. If I were Connie and Richie, I'd be pissed at her, too.

More to the point, why would a network supposedly for impressionable kids be this dishonest and sneaky at least twice - more if the HSM rumors are true??

Some of the biggest female singers on the planet have gotten together to record vocals for a star-studded single called "Just Stand Up," benefiting the Stand Up to Cancer campaign. The unprecedented gathering features vocals from Mariah Carey, Beyoncé, Mary J. Blige, Rihanna, Fergie, Sheryl Crow, Miley Cyrus, Melissa Etheridge, Ashanti, Natasha Bedingfield, Keyshia Cole, Ciara, Leona Lewis, LeAnn Rimes and Carrie Underwood. The tune is being produced by the powerhouse duo of Kenny "Babyface" Edmonds and Antonio "L.A." Reid, who are working together for the first time in nearly 20 years on the track.
The song will be available for purchase exclusively on iTunes on September 2 and will get its TV premiere on September 5 during the live "Just Stand Up" special, which will air simultaneously and commercial-free on CBS, ABC and NBC.
