NEW YORK — Yesterday, in New York City, M-A-C VIVA GLAM VI spokesperson, Fergie, announced 11 new grants from the M-A-C AIDS Fund (MAF) aimed at preventing the spread of HIV among young people, ages 15-24, who account for more than half of all new infections. The $2.3 million M-A-C AIDS Fund's Global Youth Prevention Initiative is being funded exclusively from sales of Fergie's VIVA GLAM VI Special Edition Lipgloss.
"As a musician, I'm able to reach a wider audience about issues close to my heart, and through the VIVA GLAM campaign, I've been able to get this message across to youth around the world. I'm so gratified that my lipglass has raised funds to help prevent youth across the globe from contracting HIV."

A House Divided continues. I am working on part 3 right now and this will seriously be the last part. It's starting to come back around to what I had originally planned, so everything is good.

My next trick is finding that missing fanfic which went AWOL and replacing it. Stay tuned.

Well, the holiday's over, and I suppose I need to get back to work on this site. I've made some small progress on that fanfic, and it is not one of my best, but it's going up in parts starting today because it's still very, very long.

DENVER - First word on Barack Obama's historic nomination acceptance speech from a bevy of celebrities in attendance was decidedly partisan: "It was excellent," Black Eyed Peas singer Fergie said. "It was amazing."

The Black Eyed Peas performed a concert at the Fillmore Auditorium for the Creative Coalition. Fergie praised Hillary Rodham Clinton's Tuesday-night speech, saying Clinton "really spoke to me as a woman. And I think she spoke to a lot of people in that way."

Daytime stars, perhaps? I almost missed them because I was too busy puzzling over the columns and fresco over what is supposed to be the school.

Even as you read this, I am fixing everything and reviewing Funny Money and reaming out the asshole hosts.

Tell me this is not frustrating: The site goes down (as it usually does, and you can bear me out on that!). I go to my inept in 5 languages webhost's site and file a complaint. Then the site comes back - usually whole, but sometimes not. Surprise, surprise, the answer to my support ticket comes back and says "We checked your site and it is fine"!!! YEAH, NOW, BUT IT'S BEEN 3 HOURS SINCE I SENT THE DAMN TICKET!!

Okay, maybe tickets were the wrong way to go. So the next time the site is gone, I try their newfangled live chat thingy. That should be quick, right? WRONG?

The site goes down. I pull up the chat. Lo and behold, Mr. or Ms. $2 an hour checks the site, and oh yes it is all very much working my friend! BUT THE SITE IS NOT WORKING FOR ME, THE WEBMISTRESS! I swear to God someone has my site hooked up to a light switch and they just click it on and off whenever there's a dull moment!

Even in my distressed state, I added the first few from Season 3.
