Certain fans think they have the power to create a faux
holiday called "Wild Orchid Day", and have gone so far as to taint the official
message board with it. Lucky for them WO never reads their message board,
or they'd see just how stupid their fans really are.
Firstly, if there were a Wild Orchid day, IT WOULD NOT BE
IN MARCH! While it may be true that WO's first cd did come out in March,
this suck-up day was purported to celebrate the day WO became a group. YOU
DON'T BECOME A GROUP WHEN YOU RELEASE AN ALBUM! Unless, of course, you're
a studio band, and how many times have we seen WO prove without a doubt that
they are not one?
The REAL "Wild Orchid Day", if there were such a thing,
would occur on the day they actually decided to call themselves Wild Orchid,
WHICH NO FAN OR FANSITE HAS ANY RECORD OF. For all we know, it could
have been Halloween, or Arbor Day! Kind of hard to put out a
self-titled album if you don't have a name, isn't it? Wild Orchid existed long
before any of their so-called "fans" had any knowledge of them.
To sum up, THERE IS NO WILD ORCHID DAY, IN
MARCH OR ANY OTHER MONTH. Anyone who believes this hoax should
be receiving their section of the Brooklyn Bridge in the mail this week...that
is, if Bigfoot doesn't intercept the UPS man...
